Note: Since both the Senate and House are meeting today, this calendar is being sent out a little early. Most committees had not posted their schedules by noon. Most Senate committees are shut down. Conference committees will begin meeting this week.

One Vermont Meeting Notes

As the end of session gets closer, it is not clear how the budget process will play out.

Some senate committees have begun talking about how to find the appprox $18 million not covered by the House-passed Challenges bill.

The VABIR Business Advisory Council (BAC) is a group of representatives from local businesses and civic organizations, representatives of VABIR, and representatives of VocRehab who work together to identify and develop access to job training and jobs that are compatible with the skills and abilities of people with disabilities. The Business Advisory Council is dedicated to providing a skilled and willing workforce and to working with area employers to meet their employment needs through the resources within both VABIR and VocRehab of Vermont.
