About BAC
Your Opportunity
BAC members are committed to the employment of people with disabilities. Members assist in educating the employment community about the skills and resources of people with disabilities and also serve as ambassadors to the community, promoting the hiring of people of disabilities.
Being a BAC member is a terrific way to be a part of a vital workforce development effort that seeks to better the community you live in. As a BAC member, your commitment includes:
• Attendance at 8-12, 1-hour long BAC meetings, each year
• Represent VABIR/PWI at industry functions to facilitate networking
• Provide assessment interviews for job seekers with disabilities when requested
• Assist job seekers with disabilities to access the hidden job markets
